Our Vision Statement
At Old Buckenham Primary School & Nursery, every child counts. We want the very best for everyone in our school. We nurture gifts and talents and closely support those areas of living and learning together that might be that bit harder to achieve.
We do this by recognising and celebrating our differences and promoting equity. We listen, aim to know everyone as well as we can, and we look after each other. We have high expectations and sometimes we will deliver tough messages that are not always easy to hear or to accept but are a very necessary part of growing and developing into being the very best we can be. We share this way of being to our parents and our local community. We believe that there is strength in working in partnership.
We actively encourage children and staff to grow as kind, compassionate people who are confident and resilient, working to their full potential and who are physically and mentally healthy. This allows children and adults to be very happy to come to our school every day, to enjoy working together and be a positive influence on each other’s lives.
Our School Motto
‘Inspiring learning for life’
The children, school council, parents, carers and staff all agreed that this should be the motto for our school.
