Maple class
Welcome to our class page!
Happy new year Maples! Let's continue to grow onwards and upwards in this new year!
Classroom staff:
Mrs B Paulson (Class teacher)
Mrs M Lynam (Teaching assistant)
Miss R Noyes (Teaching assistant)
Mrs E Mardell (Teaching assistant)
Enrichment:
This term we are jumping in the deep end with swimming every Monday afternoon at Diss Swimming Pool and later Wymondham Swimming Pool. We are also looking forward to our exciting residential trip to Thorpe Woodlands in May.
The Old Buck Way:
In Maple class we use our teamwork and communication skills to help grow and develop in our learning. We are honest and respectful of one another and are working on our growth mindsets to develop into resilient learners. At the beginning of the school year the children wrote and signed a class charter which reads as follows:
- We understand that different learners need different things to succeed.
- We will always believe in ourselves, never back down from a challenge and never give up.
- We help each other.
- We make marvelous mistakes.
- We actively listen to others when they are speaking.
These promises within our class charter help us to follow and embody our school rules (ready, respectful, safe) and our school values (in bold above).
See below to find our class newsletter for this half term.
