Old Buckenham Primary School benefits from:

  • ​​​Being a rural community primary school situated in the village of Old Buckenham, Norfolk.
  • Having seven classes, one for each academic year, which enables us to deliver the EYFS and National Curriculum to classes containing single age ranges.
  • Excellent grounds including two playgrounds, amphitheatre, tunnel and mound and a vast games' field.
  • Recently upgraded adventure playground.
  • An exciting and stimualating outdoor learning area for our youngest children fostering an enabling environment.

  • A well resourced library area for all levels recently renovated with the support of our fantastic Families Association.
  • Regular visits from local community members such as the local vicar Reverend Sarah and emergency service personnel.
  • A range of extra curricular activities to access including such as choir, creative club and sports clubs run by our Premier Sports coach.
  • Access to instrumental lessons from peripatetic teachers working with the  Norfolk Music Service.
  • Breakfast and After School Clubs including activities and refreshments.
  •  Online learning through Tapestry in EYFS and Microsoft Teams in Year 1-6.
  •  Each class has access to a set of tablets to support interactive learning and ICT skills. Our Year 6 class has access to a set of laptops.
